Congratulations Rotary Club of Chatswood on your 70th birthday celebrations. A terrific club that has contributed so much to our local community and beyond. It was an honour to be there as President Brian handed over to President Tony Basten. Premier Gladys Berejiklian also assisted with formalities and gave an inspiring speech.

Congratulations Northbridge Rotary Club on their changeover dinner. It was a fantastic celebration of a year of achievement with so much more to come. Special mention to Rob Coote former President of Northbridge 202 and a major driving force for the Rotary Fireworks who was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship Award. Well deserved recognition of all his hard work.

Dare to Dream. Andy West from UTS Northern Suburbs Athletics Club had a dream to bring the throw cage from the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games to Rotary Athletics Field Chatswood. Easy right? Andy was able to secure help and grant funding from a number of stakeholders including the State Government, Chatswood RSL and Willoughby City Council to bring this dream to life. The cage is now installed and officially dedicated to former club stalwart Bev Jaye. Love it when dreams become reality.
