Gallery 307 Art School hosted its Junior Art Prize giving this afternoon. John Klein did a fantastic job judging the outstanding artwork. It was also a pleasure to meet Lucy who told me about the moon festival display.
It was a fascinating afternoon at the Chatswood Bowling Club for the Historical Willoughby The Cavalcade of History and Fashion Inc. 1950’s show. My daughter Miriam is wearing a stunning outfit made for my Mother in Law in Melbourne in the early 1960’s. This outfit was then worn by Jon’s twin sister at our wedding 22 years ago.
It was a Super Saturday at Willoughby City Council today. My day started with On the Air with the Mayor on Northside Radio 99.3fm, then to the Chinese Cultural Centre for a stunning exhibition, The Concourse with Councillor Christine Tuon for Stairway to the Heart supporting asylum seekers and refugees and finally I welcomed residents following their mystery bus tour. What a great place we live in!
Your Side has been helping disabled and seniors live comfortably in their own homes for over 30 years. I’m pleased to say they are expanding their services in Chatswood and it was a pleasure to see so many happy clients today.
