Footpaths, or the lack of them, is one of the concerns that Castlecrag residents regularly ask me about.
Burley Griffin’s vision, and the natural bush environment of Castlecrag can sometimes mean there is little option for pedestrians but to walk on roads.
Council has drafted a Castlecrag Footpath Master plan to give all residents the opportunity to express their views on whether footpaths should be introduced and if so, where and in what form.
I encourage residents to write to Council to give your own local perspective.
Submissions are open until the 3rd of August and the proposed plan can be viewed at the WCC website.
