There has been keen interest from the community about a proposed development of an Aged Care facility on Sailors Bay Road.
The feedback generally been positive to have a facility of this type in our local community, however concerns have been raised about various issues including the bulk and scale of the building, fire safety and traffic concerns.
The DA went before full Council last night and Councillors voted unanimously to defer the matter to allow the applicant to address concerns about the development.
Council however is not the determining authority. The matter will now be reviewed by the JRPP at Council offices at 12 noon on the 16th of February. Members of the public are welcome to attend and may be able to make submissions.
