As part of my role on the Natural Heritage and Bushland Committee, I have seen first hand the slaughtering of our beautiful trees in the Embrasure Reserve, Clive Park and now in Kameruka Street.
I believe Councils policy is weak in addressing these issues. Further investigation is required, but we need to do more to send a message to the part of the community committing these crimes to let them know that killing our trees is not acceptable and wont be tolerated.
I would welcome your feedback on this issue.
