My background

I moved to the Sailors Bay Ward of the Willoughby City Council in 1996 with my husband Jon and young daughter Miriam. In 1998 our son Lincoln was born.

I have a firm understanding of what it is like raising a family in the Sailors Bay Ward and what it is like to accommodate the needs of a growing family. My children have learnt to swim at the Willoughby Leisure centre and attended local child-care. Lincoln has played soccer for Northbridge, and went to local pre-school. Miriam attended Willoughby Public School, and the family shops locally. I love the village atmosphere and that you know the shopkeepers by name. I have also renovated a home and gone through the DA process.

With a background as a Project Manager with Lend Lease, I have the skills to get a job done. I have a Bachelor of Business (Management) degree from the University of Technology Sydney, and a Certificate in Financial Markets from FINSIA.
I am active in my local Bushcare Group, am currently President of the Wenona Parents’ Association, and a member of the Castlecrag Progress Association. I have been Vice-President of the NSW Parents Council, a Year Rep for Shore and NSWPC Co-ordinator for Shore and Wenona for many years. I am also a volunteer Community Speaker for the Cancer Council.
The Local community is very important to me, and as a member of Council I believe that I am in a position to defend the community interest in the Sailors Bay Ward.
